Mr. Kern joined the firm in 1993 and focuses on traditional union-side labor law, representing unions in litigation in state and federal court, proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and New York State Public Employment Relations, collective bargaining negotiations, grievance hearings and innumerable arbitrations.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Steve worked in program audit and compliance functions for the State of New York in the field of developmental disabilities.
