Biography

Ms. Shepherd is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Columbia Law School.  She worked at the National Labor Relations Board, Region 2 prior to joining the firm.  Her areas of concentration are labor law and employment law, representing unions and employees.  She is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to practice in the Southern, Eastern and Northern Federal District Courts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Wendy is the daughter of a UAW shop steward and was schooled at an early age on the importance of Unions to working class people and to our country.

Ms. Shepherd has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee and on the Labor and Employment Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. In 2020, Ms. Shepherd was inducted as a fellow into the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, an association of leading attorneys in the field of Labor and Employment. She is also a contributing editor to “The Developing Labor Law: The Board, the Courts, and the National Labor Relations Act” treatise, the definitive guide to United States labor law.

Wendy spends a great deal of her non work hours tutoring and mentoring young people through the Wadleigh Scholars Program, on whose Board she sits.
